Grand Theft Auto VI
One of the most anticipated games of the decade, Grand Theft Auto VI takes players back to the iconic Vice City in the fictional state of Leonida. The game follows two main protagonists, Jason and Lucia, as they navigate a sprawling open world filled with missions, side activities, and dynamic events. Rockstar Games has promised a larger and more detailed world than any previous title in the series, featuring improved graphics, smarter NPCs, and a more immersive gameplay experience. Fans have been waiting for this sequel for over a decade, making it one of the biggest entertainment releases of the year. It is currently scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Fable
The beloved Fable series is returning with a complete reboot developed by Playground Games. Set in the magical world of Albion, the new game combines action RPG combat with humorous storytelling and meaningful player choices that influence the world around you. Players will explore forests, villages, castles, and mythical landscapes while completing quests and interacting with colorful characters. Longtime fans are excited to see the franchise return after more than a decade, and newcomers will have the opportunity to experience the series for the first time with modern graphics and gameplay. The game is expected to launch in late 2027 for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation 5.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword
Capcom is reviving the classic Onimusha franchise with Onimusha: Way of the Sword. This action-adventure game combines fast-paced samurai combat with supernatural enemies inspired by Japanese mythology. Players will wield powerful swords, battle terrifying demons, and explore beautifully designed environments set during Japan's feudal era. The game has received positive early impressions thanks to its challenging combat system and stunning visuals. Capcom recently moved its release date to September 4, 2026, allowing it to stand out during a busy release season. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
